Product Registry
Update!
The Gentle Giant Collectors
registry is in the process of a major update that will show collectors the image
of the item they are registering so they can make sure they register the correct
product. So far we have completed the Star Wars and Harry Potter section and
plan to finish the rest over the Holidays!
We have also updated the
Registry so you can now view your whole collection, as well view others
collection with one click! It features easy to use Log-In Features that
only requires a name and e-mail and a simple Interface to add your
collection with drop down boxes and all the products already added, just pick
your item, add your number and click add!
Lists ordered in number
fashion, Promo and AP Supported.
Ability to edit, change and
update your collection at anytime!
One click "View my
Collection" for a complete list of everything you own (great for insurance,
printable)
And we keep adding new
features that our message board members request as soon as possbile!! We now

Gentle Giant 2006 Holiday Gift
I'm sure you have already seen the pictures in our forums
and at other fansites but the 2006 Holiday Gift from Gentle Giant his year is

A New HP Mini Bust?
GGC and VoldemortsVault.com reader
Ryan reported in that he found
this article on-line about Gentle Giant Studios and in it they mention a
Harry Potter Grindylow Mini Bust and have several
prototype pictures posted as well.
According to the article Scott from Gentle Giant Studios
says, "I did a Grindylow a character from Harry Potter which is now a figure
from Gentle Giant Ltd. The whole idea was for me to show that ZBrush was an
effective sculpting tool for creating recognizable characters from concepts or
photos. The guys were so thrilled with the results of this test it became a
product.". It looks great but no word yet if this ever made it to the final
table for production. You can

Animated Darth Vader Maquette Update:
Oops… Due to an oversight during the production process, Gentle Giant
Ltd.’s recently released Animated Darth Vader maquette was incorrectly
labeled on the underside as “Dath Vader”. Gentle Giant wholeheartedly
apologizes to all fans, collectors and the Lucasfilm community for this
mistake.
To rectify this error, we are having an adhesive nameplate with the
correct name printed that can be adhered to the base to cover the mistake.
We will post notification on our site when the nameplates are available.

Pipe Smoking Skeleton Update:
Due to extensive production costs; we are
canceling the release of the Pipe Smoking Skeleton Statue. We apologize to

charity associated with the UK based retailer Woolworths, has for
sale an extremely rare
Gentle Giant Darth Vader sculpt signed by Star Wars creator George
Lucas who is well known for keeping his
autograph for exceptionally rare occasions and particularly good
causes. The statue was sent to Woolworths direct from Lucas
Licensing to raise funds for the Kids First Charity.
Woolworths Kids First, founded in 1999, raises over £1 million a
year for children thanks to the generosity of the Woolworths’
business, its customers and its suppliers.

GG Blog Update:
Update on Princess Leia as Jabba's Slave Statue:
This is an update for all who have asked about the
Princess Leia as Jabba's Slave Statue. During the approval process, a few
changes to the early prototype (first shown at San Diego Comic-Con) were made.
Also there have been some last minute color changes to the cloth/fabric on the
base, since we posted the approved product image up on our website a few weeks
ago. We understand that many of you have been wanting to see this statue in its
final stage. Once final, we plan to debut full turns of the Princess Leia as
Jabba's Slave statue here on our blog. So stay tuned.
